Writing 1320 is the second required course in UCA’s two-course first-year writing sequence. While my sections of Writing 1310 focus on argumentation in academic contexts, Writing 1320 focuses on academic writing and research. In this course, we conduct an inquiry into disciplinary writing, using students’ interests as to frame their guiding questions and to spark their written work.
